Never in my life have I had so many dates in 2 weeks! It's great! I don't know if my self-esteem is high right now or that I'm just putting off a positive vibe, but whatever it is, I'm enjoying it...mostly :)
I found out at work the other day that our night cook (Rodney) has a thing for me. I guess he's been asking about me and telling the girls that he wants to take me to a movie. So friday night I pulled him aside and confronted him about it. I was basically giving him a chance to ask me, and he chickened out! So I went home and went to sleep...and at 12:30...I get a text. It's him! I guess he got my number from the call list posted in the server station! Cool! He's super hot! So we plan on going to a movie on Sunday...yes Mother's Day...we both worked Saturday night, and afterwards we hung out and had a few drinks. I took him home and as soon as we pulled in he jumped out of the car! I'm like..."bye?" I thought that was really weird. So Sunday morning he calls me and asks if I want to go to the movies or get a raincheck..that to me was a blow off...so I rainchecked him. It felt good to have the power :)
Now Josie is trying to hook me up with one of her friends. His name is James and he's pretty darn cute! He's been texting me all weekend trying to meet up with me but I wasn't quite ready to meet him. So tonight we are going to meet up at Saints and grab some drinks and apps. I hope this one is better than the last 2!
Other than that, I've been applying for jobs everywhere. I got the one I interviewed for last week but I decided I didn't want to cold call people all day and harrass them. So I've been putting my resume out there for the world to see and hoping that something good will come along. We were really busy at work today but it's still not going to cut it in the long run. I've been having blood pressure problems again and almost had to go to the hospital friday night...
Last night I went to Lisa's house. We watched another Life Time movie "Deadly Honeymoon" that we've been waiting to watch. It was classic! I love those movies! We sat around for awhile and chatted and then I came home and went to bed.
The weather here has been horrible. I haven't been out to run in 2 days because it's been rainy and cold. The wind is blasting 100mph too. I need to start running, my 1/2marathon will be here before I know it!!
Well that's about it I suppose. I need to start putting on some makeup and picking out my outfit for tonight. If this doesn't go well then I'm going to stop dating for awhile. I've been striking out right and left! Just like when I played ball at JCCC! LOL Anwyay, I'll keep u posted!

The Date
In the famous spanish words "No Bueno". I was so nervous to meet up with this guy, I look really cute. Had on my fav outfit, nice jeans, flipflops. I pull up to the Blue Moose and he's standing outside. Black shirt, khaki pants, tennis shoes. Not bad from afar! So I pulled into a parking spot and walked up...then he smiles...YIKES! He needs some major dental work! His top teeth were ok..not great..but the bottoms were horrible! Little did he know that he had no chance from that point on. I just can't overlook bad teeth. Not only were they jacked up, but they were stained. But he was nice, we sat up at the bar and had a drink while waiting for our table. We sat on the patio...this patio was awesome! I've never seen one so big!! (That's what she said..right Tina?!) Anyway, he happens to know one of the servers and she takes care of us. They are gossiping for the first hour about her sister and her boyfriend...blah blah blah...while I'm drinking my carafe of Sangria. Finally when this girl goes away him and I start chatting. I was bored...I really wasn't listening to much he was saying. At this point I'm no longer interested. So he pays for dinner and asks me to go watch a movie at his house. I told him I would if he didn't make it weird. So I follow him to his place and when we get there he shows me around. He literally has nothing in his apartment. 2 nice black leather couches, an entertainment systems with a ginormous t.v. His king sized bed is a mattress on the floor. So he's like, "pick a movie". I tried to find the shortest one he had...because I wanted to leave and try to stalk Don one more time lol. I picked "Good Luck, Chuck". I've seen it a million times...but whatever!
So I sit on the couch as close to the arm rest as possible. He sits down practically on top of me and slouches down to lay his head on my shoulder...yuck. I was NOT feeling him at all! He kept trying to wrap his arm around mine and rub my leg and massage my feet. I kept pushing him away. I told him I was prude..lol. At one point in the movie he was just staring at me hoping that I would look over so he could kiss me. I just kept watching the movie. I knew what he was up to. Finally he grabs my face and kisses me. I pulled away and just giggled...I didn't want to kiss him! I wanted to leave! So he falls asleep...I look down at him and tell him I'm leaving because he needs to go to bed since he's so tired. "No no no, lets finish the movie, I won't fall asleep again I promise". Ugh. That was the perfect excuse too...damn. So I stay, he tries to kiss me some more and I pull away. When the movie was over, I tried to get up. He puts his arms around me and starts to come onto me. I pushed him away and told him I wanted to go home, that I was tired. So he let me leave. Didn't walk me to the door or anything...He called me today, but I didn't answer.
So I left...picked up Shannon on my way, and off to Charlie Hoopers! Unfortunately...Don wasn't there. I guess we didn't have much of a connection since he doesn't seem to want to come in on the nights that he knows I'm there. So we had a few beers and left. Went to Denny's afterward and I came home and went to sleep.
Today I had an interview. It went really well and I basically go the job. Now I have to go in and take a pre-employment personality test. Gay. But yeah, they loved me and told me that if I passed that I would definately have the job. So yay for me!
:) Especially since there's a TON of drama at work right now. And I mean TONS of drama! So much that I don't even want to go into it.
Anywho...I've been feeling a little crappy today. Maybe it's the weather. :( I think I'm going to pop some pain killers and go to bed. Nighty night!

Tweek!
I named this Tweek because I'm watching South Park right now...shocker! Tweek is tweeking out on Sharbucks coffee. lol. I love this show! I just got off the phone with that Ryan guy. Again, another 2 hours of convo. Sounds like we're going to have a good time. Dinner and drinks on Cinco de Mayo...good times. :)
I went another 3 miles with Shannon today. My legs are killing me, but I'm hoping that by next week they will be used to running! Hopefully I can walk tomorrow! I'll prob. be waddling into the restaurant to meet Ryan. lol! Too bad I'm not sore from something else ;)
So today at work I was freaking out all day. Josie told me that our boss pulled her over yesterday and told her some of his concerns. They have an ad in the paper for part-time and full-time servers...he told Josie that there are 2 people looking to be replaced due to performance issues, which isn't me, but I guess he said something about me complaining to him about my tips that one night. I wrote about it earlier. He told her that he didn't want my complaining to be heard by the customers so he's looking to replace me too...that's fucked up! I have been a VERY loyal employee and done things for that place more than others, and he's looking to can me because I stood up for myself and expressed my concerns to him in private? I can't be more pissed about it than I am right now. First of all, he goes to another server and tells her these things...instead of confronting the problem. Totally unprofessional. It's none of her business what I say to him. I'm so pissed. I have never been fired from a job, so I will not let it happen. I have been looking for jobs tonight and hopefully I'll hear back. I'm not going to work for an inconsiderate asshole anymore. Josie says I'm overreacting, that I'm twisting her words, but that's what she told me...so that's how I took it.
So hopefully I'll be able to find something I enjoy before I get canned. And if I do get canned, you better believe I won't go down without some words to him!
Anyway, that's about all that happened today! I need to hit the sack so I don't have bags under my eyes for my date tomorrow!!! I'll keep you posted! (no pun intended!)

Saturday:
Woke up, sat around the apartment until 6. Went to Amanda's and picked her up. Took a couple shots, and off to Tiffany's house. Me, Tiff, Amanda, Jess, and some other girls headed out to Funky Town. I love this place! It's such a time warp! It's only as fun as you make it, so if you suck, you're not going to like it. I haven't danced that much in soooo long. I had the time of my life! It was great! I got to drive us all back to Tiff's, where we sat around talking about dirty things. Eventually I took Amanda home and passed out at my place.
Sunday:
Woke up about 6:30am drunk as a skunk. I think the alcohol hit me as soon as I got home Saturday night. Took some Advil and went back to sleep. Woke up about 12, feeling dandy, gathered up my laundry and headed to my parents house. My brother is in town house-sitting while my parents are in Hawaii...jealous! I guess my parents were walking along the ocean line and a huge wave came and took them both down. Dad lost his glasses in the ocean, busted his knee, and Mom got all scraped up. LOL!! That was their first day of vaca! My Dad is about as blind as me, so they had to go get him glasses at the outdoor mall in Kuai (sp). Oh boy, I can only imagine...lol! I sat around with Chris the whole day, left about 9, and headed to Melissa's to watch Chloe...we haven't been able to find it on video...so her brother pulled it up on the internet...wow...it was pretty...interesting. If you like lesbian sex and Amanda Seyfried...I recommend watching it. It was border-line soft porn. Overall the movie was horrible. Finally I came home and went to bed.
Monday:
Today I went to work...we were kinda busy..nothing great. Afterwards I went to the golf course and applied for their Pool Manager position. Joel Mayo works there and he told me to come in to apply. I haven't seen him in like 13 years! Crazy! So I chatted with him for awhile and left. Met Shannon at the dog park and we went for our 1/2 marathon training. Today is day 1. I commited to my aunt today, so I have to be serious about this. I'm ready to prove to everyone that I can do it! Afterwards, I met up with Melissa for dinner at Golden Coral...it was ok...I didn't think it tasted great but I spent time with her and that's all that matters ;) So on the way home I called that Ryan guy. I had a missed call from him while I was out running so I thought I'd call him back. We talked for 2 hours...he is the guy version of me. It's so weird how much we are alike! So he wants to take me to dinner Wed. night, it's going to be a true blind date! He says he's 5'9", 185lbs, light brown hair, hazel eyes...doesn't sound bad. Hopefully he has all his teeth!! lol! I'm excited though, we had a ton in common and if anything we could definately be friends. I'll be on here right after the date I'm sure!
Anyway, just watched King of Queens, Family Guy, and South Park. I'm ready for bed! Sawyer is passed out cold on the chase lounge and Zoey is waiting patiently on my bed!

An Interesting Gig
I went to lunch with my Mom yesterday, her and my Dad are flying to Hawaii right now (jealous)...Anyway, we had some good conversations..
First, she asks me about my date the other night. I started laughing...I'm thinking "I didn't tell her about this...where does she know this from?" but low and behold she's my friend on FB...woops! So I tell her about it, she starts laughing and was quite disgusted really. He came into work last night and I blew him off, so I think he got the picture.
So my Mom tells me that my Aunt wants me to come to Chicago on Aug. 1st to run a 1/2 marathon with her. My Aunt (Cindy) knows that I am unhappy with my weight and that I'm very unhealthy, and she's been trying to get me to run everyday like she does. She lives in Wisconsin tho...so she really doesn't know if I'm running or not. Although, I'm sure she's not stupid :) Anyway, she's kinda bribing me to go, saying that if I'm serious about it she will pay my $110 entry fee, my plane ticket to Chicago, and my hotel room. She really wants me to do this with her. I think it would be a great accomplishment on my part if I could run 13 miles! So I told my Mom yes, I'll do it. Shannon is going to help me train for it, I think she's actually going to go with me! So yeah, hopefully I can find some motivation deep down...I bet I'll feel a lot better about myself!
Another thing my Mom told me was that a lady she works with is very determined to hook me up with a guy that works with her husband. She keeps telling my Mom that we'd be great together and that she wants us to meet. So I told my Mom to text her and get his number, that I will call or text him and chat with him sometime. So she told the guy (Ryan....of all names) about it and he said he thought it was a totally cool idea and that I should text him. So I guess I will...I have no idea what he looks like, or anything...so I'm a little nervous. All I know is that he has a nice truck, his name is Ryan, he says what's on his mind, and he cusses a lot. lol. My Mom told her friend that the cussing wouldn't be a problem with me! She also told her friend that I have bad luck with Ryans...and I guess that's why she has never told me about it till now. It's just a name right?! I think I'm going to wait until Monday to text him, I know he said he was working all weekend so there's no point in trying to get together.
